Feed the Alpacas

Feeding Ajax at Araluen Park Cottages Lakes EntranceAt Araluen Park, we use the Alpacas to manage the grass in the paddocks. They are extremely intelligent and social animals and most have excellent temperaments. Let us know if you want to feed the alpacas or give them a pat.

Bird Watching

There are over 100 species of birds that live on or frequently visit the property. From the friendly king parrots that visit the bird feeders hoping that visitors will give them some birdseed, to the elegant white-bellied sea-eagles passing overhead on their way to roosting sites in the neighbouring forest. There is a wide range of bird habitats on the property catering for species that are common to some species that are rare and endangered.
